5 Summer Trends We Can't Get Enough of

Updated: Jun 28, 2021

  1. Scallops - This romantic trend seems to have some staying power, and we're fully on board. This pendant light that reminds us of ocean waves would be as perfect in a kitchen as it would in a hallway or nursery. This bedding is both classic and playful with its scalloped edges. And this scalloped marble mortar and pestle would be both a pretty and practical addition to any kitchen counter.

  2. Blue hues - We've got the June blues, but we mean that in the best way. We're loving all shades of blue this season, and are finding fun ways to incorporate it into both our outfits and our homes - like these beautiful deep blue floral etched glasses or this navy and floral swimsuit.

  3. Floral prints - A forever favorite regardless of the season, we're still very much into all things floral, and both this and this pillow incorporate delicate floral patterns without going too far into "grandmillenial" territory.

  4. Cane and rattan - Natural materials like cane and rattan are summer staples, and we're seeing these materials incorporated more and more into accessories (beyond just market bags) like these fun sandals. We're also loving this arched cabinet with cane doors - a similar but more affordable version of arched cabinets sold at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters.

  5. Breezy white dresses - We'll never tire of a simple and flattering white dress in the summer, especially this year where most of us are slowly transitioning from wearing comfy PJs everyday and would prefer a light and forgiving fabric. This button down dress (or this similar and more affordable version) would be a perfect beach cover up during the day, but could easily transition to a nicer evening outfit paired with some strappy sandals and accessories. We're also loving this rib-knit shift dress with an unexpected and fun cross back.

What summer trends are you most excited about right now - bucket hats or sporty slide sandals, anyone?
